Hey everyone, I'm selling a '68 Mustang coupe. My grandfather bought it new June 8, 1968. He passed in '69, but my aunt has been driving it up until about 6 weeks ago. She's 85 now and just can't drive anymore. Anyway, it is an all original, unmolested car. It still has the original spare in the trunk. It is the 200ci 6, with a manual 3spd on the floor. No power anything (I can't believe she drove it this long). It has 86,500 original mi. on it. Motor runs great, does not burn oil, and is quiet. The clutch was replaced "sometime in the '80s" according to my aunt. It is from Louisiana, and has NO rust. The body is solid. The paint is there, but very weathered. I spent 6hrs on it this weekend, rubbing, buffing, waxing, and it really still looks the same, except now there is a dull shine instead of none. Anyway, pm me if anyone is interested. I live outside Chicago. Update Bonus: I was cleaning out the trunk this afternoon, and stuffed down in the driver rear quarter panel was the build sheet for the car. The only option that is checked is an AM radio,. That's it. So not only all original, but I have the build sheet also! I found the one on my '68 SS when I redid the car. That one was behind the driver door panel.
