People think that these cars are huge cash cows now....

I have seen a 36k car going for as much as $27k!!!! Highly unreasonable for a stock car, let alone modded.

At the last Meet we had out in Long Island, there was a Lincoln Mercury dealer down the block that was selling a 04 Marauder with 46K miles. We walked up the car and upon closer inspection, the car had a deep scratch which someone tried to repair with touch-up paint near the fuel door, there were numerous dings in the doors, the driver side tail pipe was shoved in a good 4 inches and the bumper cover was beat to hell. The overall look of the car was filthy. Birdcrap stains, swirl marks and just looked like someones hard driven daily driver.
We asked price the and without skipping a beat the dealer said $23,995.:eek:

I hope they get what they want for the car.

It sure feels good to finally own a car that doesn't depreciate! I don't understand why everyone here wants to see prices drop on these cars.

The dealers gouged people on them originally. I am in absolutely no hurry to see mine drop in price.

$21,500 sounds good for a DTR/LF '04 MM with low miles to me. If you can get $23,500 for it that sounds even better!

I just refinanced mine and the bank put its worth at just over $19,000 and I have 51K on the odo.
