be a writer for an automotive rag?

"Ford couldn't afford a misstep with its pony car and didn't risk much"
Say what??? The '05 represented the 1st TOTALLY NEW chassis in a quarter century.
"There's not much new about the 4.6-liter modular V-8"
Come again??? It's the first variable cam engine, EVER, in a Mustang, and it has the first EVER "fly-by-wire" throttle.
I'm not going to concede that they're comparing an '07 to an '05, either, because when they describe the rear end, they write;
"They've finally attached the solid axle to a chassis stiff enough to make a responsive handler".
