Hey Gang;

On vacation in Colorado. Being from MN this country is amazing. We drove from Denver to Vail and then to Pikes Peak. We then drove up Pikes Peak!

Here are some of the pictures, more in my Gallery.

PIKES PEAK!! It was 78F at the base and 35F and windy at the summit. We were under-dressed.

At 14110 feet the air was thin and I was having a bit of a hard time breathing. They did have an oxygen bar, but it was closed.

The road to Pikes Peak is half pavement and half dirt. A couple of the cars at the top.

That looks awesome Jeremy. Did you happen to see the Suzuki Escudos Pikes Peak rally car screwing around those turns? :D

On the way down saw a couple of boarders/skiers. We gave them a ride up and dropped them off at 13000 feet

We dropped them at the top of the picture and then "raced" them back down to about 11000 feet. If you look carefully you see two black dots halfway down the slope.

Zoomed in to the max

The guys said the slope is not that bad:bows:. It was just totally wild to see anyone skiing a slope like that.

As a humorous aside a typical ski hill in Minnesota has 250-350 vertical feet. This slope had 2000+ feet of vertical:help:
