Anyone drive/own a 07 yukon/tahoe? We are thinking of trading in our 03 Yukon for a 07 Tahoe w/ LT2 package. Middle row captains chairs ;)
Im going to slip the guy a 20 and tell him to put the nicer wheels on it.
Any comments? We are going to go look at it today, my dad did yestrday and i saw the outside only. Ill take pics
These are the wheels that'd look better

Rent one first. I did and that changed my mind. I kept my 2005 Z71 Tahoe and bought a convertible Corvette instead...;)

I wish I could afford an '07 Tahoe (actually, would prefer the Suburban, but that is me). I think the interior of the new models is light years ahead of any previous GM truck or SUV and that means a lot to me. I also really like the new full size GM SUV styling!!!

Already done, we rented a suburban in NC and when my sister and her boyfriend came to MD, they had a tahoe.
Whats funny though, the malouf chevy dealer (where we are going) Has 2 ford GT's under ford tarps in the back of the showroom, my dad said he thinks the ford guy doesnt want to sell them and keeps the keys safe in his pocket :P

The new ones are very nice, the only reason we can get it is because were trading in our 90% mint 03 Yukon:depress: They are giving us 10k for it, and it has 100k miles!
For some reason i cant find a pic of it, but you can see the @$$ end of it in this picture

10,000k for an 03 seems kinda low even with those miles ,and you must be a big baller to be able to afford gas for that thing lol

Yeah, those are definitely the nicer wheels available from GM right now. I think they make the vehicle. Good luck on the purchase.

Back from Malouf Chevy! Wow what a showroom, 3 corvettes, and 2 ford GT's under covers in the back. One of the employees even let me sit in the orange C6 vette, very nice, but very low. Took me 2 min to get in and out carefully w/o scratching anything , 6ft tall going to 1ft off the ground, my go kart is higher :P
The Tahoe is very nice, the leather, could be softer "compared to the SS trailblazer, which i also sat in" but i could get used to it, and im sure they will soften up alittle bit. But there is a shocking twist to it, but well get to that later.
It has the LT2 package, and according to the book, has remote start and climate control also. Also has homelink, and weve got 3 doors to fill up the 3 buttons.
Ready for the shocking twist? well ill get there later. Besides the "eh" wheels, the fit and finish of the tahoe was nice. Only thing i dont like and thought they got rid of in the nice ones, was that cheezy headliner. You can press it and feel the roof  One good sized hail and boom.
Now for that suprising twist you keep wondering about. The car is 44k, the dealer knocked it down to 39k which is from the factory (dad knows the manager, always good to have connections :beatnik: ), they will give us 2k off for for family discount (uncle worked at delco electronics, which is apart of GM) and 2 credit cards (citi and GM card) get us 4k off, then for the biggie, the yukon gets 10k off! They said the yukon is in great shape espically for 100k miles, and even has new tires! (They missed the broken fog light lense )
So the price we'd buy it for? 25K!!!! 50% OFF! HOLY
The test drive:
Took it down Rt 1 in the pouring rain, sounds good on the inside, the speakers sound good (have the premium bose in the yukon, not in tahoe:depress: ) and it turned tighter appearently. Also had ALOT less body roll (wider wheelbase and such, and the "eh" wheels help some to) The digital drivers display has everything, told you tire pressure, trans temp, your heart rate  fuel management status, and everything else. Overall the drivability was vedy nice!
So ill let you comment, here are some pics!

Acouple more pics, I forgot to mention i got pics of the 3 corvettes, the 2 GTs, and the rest of the showroom. I sat in the orange C6, the orange and silver vettes were C6's, the yellow one that was marked "do not touch" was the almighty 505hp Zo6 (even said so on the badge ;) ) then the 2GT's under the covers. I saw the bottom of the bumper and the wheels atleast! As close to seeing one as ill ever get :(
Pics!

Nice Truck!
The new styling of GM's SUV/trucks is really clean and straightforward.
I also like their wheel rim designs. The five spoke is similar to our Marauder rims.
To me, the new GM design is how Ford SHOULD have styled their Explorers and Expeditions.
Instead Ford has adopted that stupid looking, Audi inspired, chrome grille through the bumper routine....
And the HUGE CHROME GRILLE on the Navigator makes it THE UGLIEST truck on the road!....:puke:

AMEN to the grille!
I think we really are getting it, ill try to get some 5 spoke even chromer wheels from the GM acessories part, along with an intake :)
Speaking of marauder, check the "marauder sightings in alittle bit :D
BTW: I enjoyed your honda hunt story, had me lmaoing in the library this morning :D

The grille on the Navi is so so. What I really don't like is the look of the cheap carbon fiber looking tail lights on the new Yukon/Tahoe/'Burban line.

I'd prefer the chrome "flashy" ones than the cheesy looking CF ones.
