Hello to Glen and Steve. YearOne, thank you. 128 Mph on Road Atlanta in Yellow Goat is a very good thing.
Is anyone In GA or TN interested in this? If so, lets try and get a group: [url]http://www.panozracingschool.com/home/home.lasso

Jonathan:
Good to see you at Road Atlanta Jonathan, it has been a long time. The MM was really pushed hard over the weekend and still is going strong. The MM ran at Commerce at the YearOne races and qualified for the run-offs in the 12.00 and up class. After the drags, Chris and I drove over to Road Atlanta to run on the track. We had 3 well modded and healthy Roush Mustangs in line ahead of us. I was directly behind a stout 427R SC Roush Mustang. After a couple of laps two non-Mustangs cars dropped out. I kept on the 427R's bumper for the entire run and almost slammed into him several times as he braked very hard on several curves. He never got very far ahead of me. I was quite pleased with how the MM ran. At the end of the laps my trans temp hit 250 degrees and I was out of it. I smelled pungent trans fluid and pitted the car and this is with two trans coolers. The MM cooled down for several hours and seem to be OK. I will be replacing the Mercon V this weekend.
After running the road, I discovered in my excitement, that I had not reduced the front tire pressure from 50 to 32 psi or even increased the DR pressure from 15 to 35 psi for the laps. O'man and honestly I never noticed, the F&R ASB worked great along with the control arms and Watts linkage.
Chris rode in a Panoz GT racing car no holds barred run for 3 laps. He was really excited. As the Panoz pulled out of the pits a crew member said, "man he's really on it this time". Chip Foose was standing by me the entire time I waited and videoed the run. He had about 4 people around him. After Chris was finished the run he got out of the car he walked over to Chip and said, Hello, Mr. Foose how have you been. Chip shook Chris' hand and everyone was wondering who was this guy who knew Chip. I got the laps and this on video and will post it on this thread as soon as I get it loaded on YouTube.
Great day for MMs.

Glenn, it was good to see you representing the Marauders at the Year One drags. You were the ONLY Marauder there.
After watching the drags on Saturday, I went to the road track on Sunday and watched John Fain's Marauder run up the tail of a group of Corvettes. It is amazing that for the $25 fee not more Marauders were on this world class track.
Maybe next year.
