just here to check up on pops and to find out what i need to suggest to him to go fast and have fun! he has a lot of catching up to do!

ive been in to cars since i was 8 years old doing oil changes and basic maintence...who knew it would lead to building cars....

i have a 1999 camaro ss that is practically my "race" car....still drive it on the street sometimes but its a cam only car with full bolt ons and a 150 shot of gas on it...full tubular suspension all the way around, qa1 shocks, mickey thompson drag radials on 15x10 prostars and 15x3.5 skinnies up front....lots of weight reduction, 6 point rollbar....fully built tranny with 3600 nitrous converter, ford 9 inch moser housing with 35 splined moser axles, lightweight steel spool, 3.70 gear....make 467rwhp on the gas and my best to date is a 10.97@126 mph in the 1/4 on a 1.46 60 ft....

ill be meeting some of yall soon....im heading to maryland with the fam to yalls gathering and ill make a few passes in pop's marauder....see what times we can turn with it....

if it wasnt far i would drive my car up there but 4 hrs is a lil to far and we dont have a car trailer :bigcry:

hopefully his new replacement motor will hold up :cool:

Hi Dave--and welcome to MM land one--We need to go for a ride in my MM so you can get the feel of a faster MM for the moment--but DAD has plans--a S/C maybe in the future --you never know--he has driven mine--although kinda slow and a bit not to the wall so to speak--but I understand--he got the message --and he sure will have a stronger motor soon--

im definately up for a ride...i like the way his car feels now with the converter....im keep tellin him he needs some drag radials for when he goes to the track....needs something stickier for sure cuz the low end of it screams....i guess we will see who the better driver is in maryland....i better run and hide now for that comment before i get "grounded" :)
