That truck doesn't look half bad for a GM. And you said it's your first Chevy? What about your old Tahoe, that doesn't qualify as a Chevy?

I am not sure if he said that he had a Chevy in another thread or not but the car that he traded in was a Yukon. It's the same thing (we all love the re-baging.)
It's a very sweet ride. I always loved the Tahoes.
If it's not rude do you mind telling us how much you paid?
Also, after a few tanks, let us know you average MPG.
Congrats.

Yes the old one was a yukon, we got it from across the street.
The truck itself was 40k even, we picked it up for 25k after all the rebates
They definately didnt cheap out this time, the steering is more reactive then the yukon, it rides smoother, more power :banana2: and its roomier, espically with the captains chairs in the middle. Even has remote start, which is very nice :cool4:
Ill take some better pictures later, it should still be clean.
When are you going to clean the garage so things do not fall on it? Looks like a nice ride!

All the bike crap is my fault, ill do it this summer probably :)
The good thing about GM, you can add GM parts and performance parts w/o voiding the warranty. Bad thing, some of the parts are hella expensive... 479 dollars per wheel for this one.

Got those new pics you promised! I blacked out the plates so you cant steal the truck, but if you were to swap with a marauder, then by all means go ahead, ill give you the keys to the jimmy next to it also.
Picture time!

IMO they look nicer than the new yukons also, and they are alot less.
Cant wait till we throw on a GM cat back and some dual tips out the back :banana2:

WOW, 25K is a steal. Makes it even harder for a Ford sales person to ask 42K for an Explorer with a straight face IMO.

Wow, then we really got a deal!
I think the new explorers are kinda ugly, the gen before it was nice, and the late 90's were the best. My brother has a 98 that looks awesome, not a marauder beater, but its a rice killer!
I realised after looking at the undercarrage pics again, the round thing in the back is a resonator  No wonder you cant hear it running!

My Mom's '04 4.6 Explorer will dust a lot of the new SUV/Truck's today. That thing launches like no one's business. I've toasted a few 'Stangs/Camaro's with it.

Yeah, when we dont have to go back there, taking off a dealer sticker is a sign of disrespect, espically when you have a warranty. Dont want them spitting in the gas tank :P

What? Explorer Y Xplorer? I've actually still been looking around for the Saleen XP8 and still want one. Ford has to make a badass SUV to compete with the Trailblazer SS and the SRT-8 Cherokee.

I never allow a dealer to advertise his business on my car!
Disrespect my butt. It's disrespect to expect you to advertise for him as if he did you a favor. He owes you, you are the customer.
A dealer will lose my business forever if anyone at his establishment ever gives me a dirty look for removing his stupid and insulting advertisement from my car.
How they managed to put fear in customers like you is sad.

Not fear, the guy did let me try out a C6 for size, more like kindness, for the time being.

No, they discontinued those I believe in '00 or '99. They started up in '96-'98 I can't remember. I still have the original brochure from a Ford dealer a long time ago when my Dad bought a brand new '98 F-150. They were available with a slighly modded 5.0, or a supercharged 5.0. Ford's dumb, they don't make what consumer's want, that's what is hurting their business. Seriously, they have 0 cars that pretty much peak my interest now.

I think the mustang is there most popular car right now. It doesnt excite me as much as a marauder does. Although most people think the opposite way.

It's a Mustang. There will always be a Mustang. I love them, always have, always will. But it's not unique to me.
