I just couldn't resist it, all those "P's".
Jason, my #2 son, the Honda Mech, and I were talking cars and the subject of pillar pods come up in the discussion.
I told him I had one, he said he didn't know that. "Dad, it would look cool to have an Air/Fuel guage in there". I told him I had one of those too.
He said, "well let's get 'em installed". I said, "now"? He said it would only take a few minutes.
Wow, he was right. He had that "A" pillar plastic sleeve off, marked and drilled the holes for the PP, mounted the guage, hooked up the ground, B+ and located the engine compartment harness for the O2 Sensor's plus remounted the plastic piller sleeve with the new pod in less than 30 minutes.
He had to stop and get the wire color code from the Ford dealer. They were real nice, had the page copied in less time than it took for me to get a cup of their courtesey coffee.
He's out "Testing" the car now. Humm, that been a couple of hours now. Ha.
He love's that car. Shows it to all his ricer friends and they wooo and wooww over that big purple bottle in the trunk and the computer's in the front.
My decision now is what kind of guage to put in the second "station".
I was thinking of a fuel pressure guage. Suggestions?
