I paid $420 for a very professional install from a shop that builds custom Willies.
This was for KOOKS similar long tube kit complete with cats and magnaflow mufflers.
Anyone quoting more than 6 hours is not capable.

did the headers make the car significantly louder? or any difference at all?

I had my whole DR Cobra exhaust installed for $350 and took them only 4 hours, again they do great job on exhaust anyway. LT's I've heard take a little more time to go in.

Actually at idle, and mellow upspeed, no, they are normal.

KOOKS posts on their site that the install should take 4-5 hours.
If it takes significantly longer than that, either your shop is inexperienced
or... you can call it what you want ... :argue:

I'm looking forward to seeing how long I take to put mine on.
