I saw a black Marauder with tinted windows and what looked like white lettering on the back window parked in the parking lot of North Babylon HS for the Suffolk county PD test.
I was taking the same test at Robert Moses elementary school.

My son also took the test.
I saw an article in the paper stating " You have a better chance to get into Harvard than the SCPD".

Yeah I know but Its worth giving it the old college try. My cousin calls it the lottery.
I hope it works out for you, like they say you never know if you don't try.
If all else fails do a big smokey burnout in front of the station, that'll get you in there REAL quick.;)

Good luck Paul!
I was going to take it, but I'm too old. If you get on, in about 5 years you could be making over 100K. Not bad coin for work.

It'll take 5 years just to get called for the interview!!
I call it unofficial "fundraising" what they did with this test.

LOL, thats what I thought also when I took the test in May 2000. I think they had 40K applicants for 2K possible jobs. You had to score 100, have college and military "extra" points to even be close to getting it.

The world just got smaller. I grew up there and graduated in 1989. You probably know that by my piss poor spelling.
