I owned an '86 Plymouth Reliant K two door. Black with Red interior.
(Can't believe I actually admitted to owning a K )
It had the larger 4 cyl. 2.5l I think? First year for FI and it sounded like a diesel.

I think the grille and tail lights of the Plymouth look better than the Dodge version.

I had a Reliant K wagon (company car) with a 2.5L 4 banger that burned more oil than gasoline!

I think that it even had fender badges that said "HEMI"....no kidding!

Didn't really want one when they were new but I do now.

Something about them that I like.

I might pick one up for a second car.

The wagon would come in handy for hauling stuff, the limo would be just cool, the convertible for a cheap but decent rag top.

I was in a three car wreck once. A lady clipped the right front tire and fender of my car, rolled UP my tire and put her car on it's passenger side, it slid about 50 feet thru a Circle K parking lot and demolished a K-car wagon. I bought a whole sub-frame (and a newer set of headers) for 75 bucks and my Z-28 was back on the road. Both the other cars were totaled, and it was probably the best thing that ever happened to them. I would pay 50 bucks all day long to see a Mazda and a K-car destroyed.

My ex-girlfrined had an 85 or 88 Ksedan. The door locks would freeze open in the winter time so the doors wouldn't shut. The windows froze up too. It ran over 100k miles though.

A co-worker of mine has one. I laught everytime I see it...especialy when we're parked next to each other.
