Mad Max and I faced off four times Friday night! I beat him the first time when his car went up in smoke thru first and second gear. I looked over at Dale and it looked like he blew the motor because of all the tire smoke. The second race I lost when he pulled a 13.34 but the race was close as he beat me by a car and a half. My .509 light made up for a lot in that race. The next two races he went in the 12.80 and it was no contest. I had a riot racing this car and when he gets past the traction problems I think he will be in the 11 second bracket. I bow to Mad Max because he is a much faster car than I have. Laughed my head off everytime we ran.:banana2:We had fun all night.:beatnik:

You have to pedal it on Max before you can mat it! Sal told me once that the power in the car is so brutal, that if you're doing 65 and punch it, you're layin down some thick ass rubber!

Hey, at least ya beat a high 10' car  Sounded like tons of fun!

*Edit*: Max has also been slightly "detuned", i also remember being told. I cant imagine that thing all out on some slicks.....

The first run he had so much smoke when it hit second I thought he blew it up. We had a load of fun. Both cars drew a lot of attention and questions from young and old. You should have saw Mad Max at the betten all Ford show in Grand Rapids. It still had all the rubber on it from the drags. Dale is a lot of fun to hang with.

Nitto 255/50ZR17 "Extreme Performance" on Unique 17x8" black "D" hole. Even at 22 to 24 psi, are very disapointing drag-racing tires. I may use them on the front, or get some slicks, maybe 10x16x28 or 30"?

Paul I will let you know when we are going again. I would like to take a shot at the bottle baby. I never thought that I would beat Mad Max. Everyone gets lucky once in a while. WE do need more fun like this as it gives us something to talk about.

Sure hope you used some PAM spray under that stuff before you started----so it will come off easy---thats what I do--works well

Clean it off? In Michigan, they call it "undercoating".
