Quick question

:) Aloha everybody, I'am getting the Xcal2 tune with the 91 and 93 octane tunes. We have 92 octane here in Hawaii, that has 10% ethanol blended into it. Will it be safe to run the 93 oct. tune? I'm assuming that the 93' tune will be more peppy, and give better performance (faster :P). Is this correct? Could you guys educate me on this? Mahalo (thank you) --- ALOHA

To be safe I'd get a tune for 92 octane.

We have had Ethanol here in New York for years.
I am running Lidio's tune for 3.55:1 gears on my Marauder with no problems for about 2 years now.
I've used both 91 and 93 octane without problems.

Is your tune specific to octane levels? My fear is that it will "ping" (detonation).
