I have responded numerous times to assist AND help. I have written paragraphs with wealths of knowledge and answers to questions. So far - not ONE of my posts have shown up.

Once you "read" a thread (or respond) it disappears from the list until you go find it manually or someone else posts to it, IIRC. Yes, it's annoying if you ever want to go back and find the thread again, especially if you don't remember what forum it was in.

Either that or use today's posts rather than new posts, if during the last 24 hours.

Same when you post a new thread, the originator cannot see it unless they go to "Today's Posts" because the very act of posting it counts it as being read. We ALL know that this is an incorrect assumption because we know some folks don't read their own posts. :rofl: There's no other way to explain it.

Yes, it is VERY annoying. Personally, I liked the OLD way better. Never a problem in more than 3 years. Now, I am using the "Today's Post" button exclusively because I don't want any posts disappearing because I MAY have looked at them.

Hey Tom!!! Good to see you here again my friend. The car and the mega sound system haven't moved in three weeks. I keep her parked and safe in the garage. I think a few of the responses pinned it down to exactly what is happening. It is frustrating to try to find your post and nothing's there. When the hell you comin' home man?

Every time I post, hitting that "Submit Reply" button, it takes me right to the post in the thread. Not sure why your experience is any different.

I just go straight to the forums. Yes I see all the posts, but the most recent are all at the top.
