I know honda is a forbidden word on this forum, but i dont mean Honda automobiles, i mean honda powersports. And the ody isnt the mini van, but the 1980's odyssey buggy. Reason i bring this up, i saw one today around 6 then 8 o'clock, someone was washing it and i THINK is going to sell it. Reason he might sell it, there was a washed JD lawn tractor, recently new for sale also. Think he is cleaning out the garage.

Anybody ever drive one? Are they powerful "Dumb question " Can they outrun my blade "even more dumb of a question " And hows it ride?

The 2nd and 3rd question i know the awnser to already, so the last one is most important.

In case you havent seen a odyssey "ody" buggy before, here is one on ebay for 1500, which is what i plan to offer the guy if he has it for over 2k. Keep in mind, i got my modified blade "05 with an 06 motor" for 3k and my manco 3 years ago for 1700. So i think for a 20+ yr old buggy, 1500 is a good price for stock.....

FYI, the Honda Pilot "400cc 2 stroke" is basically the marauder of all mini buggies, the 350cc odyssey "also 2 stroke" is like the CVLX HPP if i got that right.

Some honest opinions, if youve got the cash and the land, would you buy it?

PS: The one on ebay is not the one i saw, that is just an example of what stock models sell for, and what they look like. And the above pic, the buggy is mostly stock to the eye besides the gas tank. Just to let you know.

You bet I'd buy it, in a minute! It would be a nice addition to the family of off road stuff in the family: 2, Yamaha 660 griz, and a Honda Rancher ES, not to mention the greatest cool offroader of all, the old '88 TRX 350, oh yeah, the '88 Yamaha TW 200 trail bike. :)

I actually enjoy buggies much more than 4 wheelers. Each have their purpose, and each can do stuff the other can't. It's gonna be hard to find a stock ody. I have owned a 2 stroke mid 80's honda 4 wheeler. You should have no issues with power. It should make your manco's feel slow!

I know what you mean :D Im going to go back over there, and see if he has it listed for sale, would make a great new edition to the mini garage.

Although a Quadski from Aquada would be cool too.

Or any Aquada.
