I found this on E-Bay. It looks real nice, and I can't believe there's no reserve ! This may go cheap as there is only a few days left on it.

When I read the description, he did say that he had to cancel the last auction because he used the term " Not Chevrolet Impala". So E-bay must have made him end it and start over. They prohibit that type of thing.

I used to have a 66 colony park with a 410. it wasnt a dog, I imagine an S-55 with a 428 would be Sweeeeet!

We had one of those when I was a kid (yes, long ago); 66 with a 410. And a Marauder air cleaner. ;) It made it to 166,000 miles without a rebuild. I've thought about buying one, but not sure I could afford the gas.

with duals, electronic ignition and the 2.73 gears ours would get about 15 mpg. I always wanted to put headers on it, as I thought the log manifolds restricted efficiency. my dad got over 500k miles out of it before a lower a-arm broke.

Didn't even know they MADE a 428 in 1966. I thought that motor came out in 1968. Thought they used 390s or 427s in 1966.

the 410 was a 390 block with a 428 crank. yes 428s in 1966

Yes, pretty funny, he did it again
Sorry about the inconvienence of the last listing of this car, it was taken off because I wrote "Not 1963 Impala"

I'd guess these were the equivalent of the Ford 7 Litre Galaxies. They only made the 7 Litre Galaxy for two years, 1966 & 1967. They are rare and sought after.

Why does e-Bay care if he wrote that it isn't a 1963 Impala????

I tried to list a motor vehcle on Ebay and it was a big hassle. The limitation to auction only and the fees are excessive.
I registered ~8 years ago and that caused a nightmare to try and reregister.
I ended up listing it elsewhere for free. I have a lot of enquires and have had 3 offers.
Ebay is not for me.
Is anyone bidding on the vehicle, or not?
