oil/volt gauge removal

I give up! How does one remove the panel holding the gauges? I can't get a mirror in back to see. And the 2003 DVD has nothing on this area of the car.

I remember that message. He says gently. I have been much more forceful and nothing has let go.

Give it a tug........it does come up and out.
Place the gear shift selector in 1 or 2 to get enough room to maneuver it out.
