985 acres for sale. South east Minnesota. Four building sites, three houses (one 3bdr/1bth, and two 4 bdrm/2bth ) outbuildings include 5 pole sheds ranging between 55'x100' and 60'x130' , several shops, 5 two car garages, and several "obsolete" buildings (aka hay barns).

Property has an excellent trout stream, 550 acres of wooded hillsides, and multiple ponds. Perfect for sportsmen! In fact I turned down 20k/year for hunting rights last year.

I'll throw in an 1880's vintage sawmill (in working condition) and about $100,000 in farm equipment. This is everything you need to earn almost $25,000/year farming or $45k/year with hunting rights.

Soil analysis available upon serious request.

I'm asking $4,250/acre. Will consider partial trades+cash for a vintage GT40, a Prevost tour bus, or...?

Must be sold as one piece. Won't separate.

I think he really wants the vette, but wants to also keep his MM;). This way, for $50 a month, he can just sleep in his MM in town and drive his vette.

I know how difficult for you making the decision to sell this is.
It may be for the best for you personally though. Good luck with it.

My reasons for selling are somewhat personal. This place was my Grampas, then my Dads and now it's mine. That will make selling it difficult. Adding to this difficulty is the fact that it's worth more together and not parted out. This rules out other farmers. (as farm land it's worth between $1,700-$2,200/acre). Farming is the only occupation where you literally need to quit or die to become wealthy.:(

Therefore it will most likely go to some high roller that wants seclusion and their own place to hunt. Most likely this place will never again feed another person.

The sale could take years. Thanks for your thoughts.

Good Luck, that's really got to hurt making the decision to sell. Once its gone it will always be gone and always a memory. Farmers are the biggest gamblers out there and most the hands thier delt just barely brake even. It's a hard life even with a big family. Those Eagle pics you gave Gail and I are really nice .
Thank You again
