I've had mine up to 135 mph 2 times & it was still pulling, but I had to slow down. No Problems and very smooth.

Had a dodge truck roll up on me at 80, droped the hammer looked in the mirrior and he was no longer there, looked down, 125 with a lane change, smooth as glass:cool:

125 or so is smooth as silk, not really enough good roads close by to go too much faster. I trip out west should fix that though.
I look for opportunities to pass even when I dont need to. a terrific passing car to be sure.

Same deal with a "modified" Dodge Dakota 5.9 @ 60 mph at 4 a.m. on I-10. He rolled down his window and counted down with his fingers. By the time I had him by a full car length we were @ almost 140. I would have never believed it if I had not glanced down at the speedo. Smooth.

You know that is very true, although it dissapoints me when it feels like im doing 50, i look at the speedo and im only doing 15
Yet when you really are doing 50 it feels like your going to die. Still a speed im trying to hit!
Have fun in the fast lane, i dont think ill catch up.

I read here that if you have 4:10's you should keep it BELOW 100mph...for fear of damaging the tail shaft...Would this be true?
BTW: I read that you can go higher (speeds) if you have the proper equipment (ie: up-graded and balanced drive shaft, tail shaft lube mod)

Overdrive is on, with the 4:10's would hate to see that RPM gauge:bigcry:without it.

I had my driveshaft balanced on the DTR at the local driveshaft place, 65 bucks and he said it was good for 160+, never felt a vibration at 130+

After I got the NAAKE 4 wheel DA shocks and springs I bought the MMX propshaft from DR as well as the AADCO rear stabilizer bar and a set of new tires which I had RF balanced. That was last summer, then I took my daughter on vaction to DC and points west. On the trip back I had several opportunities to stretch her legs to 120. Then as we were coming off the Skyway at 3 AM going 80 I got a good look and saw no police or other cars so I turned on my flashers and went for it. I never floored it, so we stayed in OD.
140 through the curve (appx 1/4 mile from the top of the bridge) and smooth as glass. She was still pulling, but a bit slower. My guess is with enough road, 145, 150, maybe more is top-end.
All this with no power adders or gas management mods, intake or exhaust, just a Diablosport Predator Mustang Mach I/Marauder tune. I wouldn't have dared this on a stock propshaft, balanced or not. Those stock u-joints aren't big enough for me to trust at these speeds.
And it was sweet. Yup, my speedometer has read 140. ;)
Of course this could just be a line of BS.
Javier, you know I'd never do anything evil, like speed on public roads, don't you?

you had me excited there for aminute. when you said flashers i thought you meant you had strobes. i have front a and back police stobes in the turn signals and tailghts so you would never see them when they are off. clear up front and read out back. then i realized people call their hazards in other states flashers. sorry

Hmm, I'm assuming all of you must have bypassed the speed limiter especially if you get up to 130-140..? Am I going to have to take my stock MM out to see what my top end speed is?
