I can't find where the noise is coming from on my car exactly but it sounds like its from the rear somewhere , kinnda sounds like the spare isnt all the tied down an its whenver i go over bumps . Shocks arent loose , control arms seem fine an exhaust hangers are all there. Has anyone heard noises of any kind from the rear ? I had it on the lifts an still nothing was discovered .

Thats probably your problem, My spare was loose and it drove me nuts, you have to tighten it down then wiggle to the tire and then tighten down again.
Also check your jack location.

Try Looking At Your Exhaust Pipes, Sometimes When You Replace The Exhaust The Pipes Aint Secured Properly

Had this problem, spare "felt" tight but wasn't.

Took spare out but still have this noise an i found that my left rear shock is leaking but i doubt thats the noise . Imo it sounds like one of the axles are loose or something ! Axle bearings ?:help:

Shocks can make noise if defective. I would change the rear shocks and try it.

Just did that myself , thats not where that dam noise is coming from

toc noise over bumps, like the round side of a hammer on the frame .
New shocks, alignement done and its still there.

I have the same toc noise coming from the suspention in the back.
I can't find it and i am now going to let it go until it gets worse so it will be easier to find.

As cyclopsram said, you might check your subwoofer. If it is loose, it can make a really bad noise when hitting bumps in the road. Mine sounded like the back window was about to fall out.

This was all after the local dealer replaced my original subwoofer, which was blown since the day I bought it. They just didn't take the time to tighten it all down. It looked like it was fine from the bottom, but wasn't tight on top, which is really hard to get to.

Just climb into the trunk, and push it up from the bottom, and see if it moves. If so, you may have found your problem.

I seem to remember some time back that a thump, clunk, bang was reported and the probem was a broken weld around the rear axel area of the undercarriage. The break was noticeable but one had to look carefully.
I couldn't locate the post, but you may want to put the car up and with a flashlite go over every weld under the rear section of the car. FWIW.

After several trips to the dealer, microphones all over the chassis, body bolts loosened & re-tightened, suspension and drivetrain reworks, mine still does it. I just try to ignore it.

I had it. The vertical portion of tailpipe pipe after upside down U in behind the axle touches gas tank bolt. Makes noise over bumps and on quick acceleration. Push 'in' on passenger tailpipe slightly, will vibrate with engine idling. I used a couple heavy duty zip ties on rubber hangers to ease them forward a bit. Noise gone.

You know, 'til now I've been resisting the temptation to say something like "your problem sounds like a gas issue", but now, I just can't help myself!

Sorry guys.

Well , mine turns out to be the dam pucks between the frame and body, if i tightened them to much, its worse, goes away if i loosen them up, but then you get another kind of noise, probably the body moving around.
Im screwed, they sell those for around a $100 a set. X by 8 if you change them all ...

Did this noise sound like it was coming from the front or the back? I've got one that sound like it is in the front but may just be traveling...I'd love for it to be something like this.
