Huh...the only thing "Marauder" about that car are the tips and the rims...it's even got cloth upholstery for God's sake...

Not a fan of the front-end revamp they did for '06. Also, they've uglified the steering wheel.

Here's my question though...he has the original window sticker in one of those pics. How is it that the SOHC 4.6 in that car (the 224hp version, no less) is rated at 17 city/25 highway, when the DOHC 4.6 in our cars is rated at 17/24? You'd think there would be more fuel savings with an 80 hp difference...Not to mention you have to take the 3.55 gears into account. With the same rear end the Marauder might actually get better highway mileage?

It certainly looks better than the average GM, but I'm not sure that MM wheels and dual exhaust qualifies it as a Marauder clone.

I know this is :Offtopic:, but I recently covered the chrome in the bumpers front and rear, also the side mouldings.

Wow, that is a close match. I had to look twice to figure out what you covered. Looks good. If you replaced the rear facia with a painted crown vic style you could get rid of that last piece of chrome in the back.

Thanks, I like the rear facia it's a '06 facia (after all it's not a Marauder) and I added the oem Marauder spoiler. It keeps people wondering what the F*#k it is that.:D
Although I'm thinking about color matching the door handles.

good old ebay for the pinstriping. The seller even sent me a direct link from the manufacturer so I could see color better.

and no the wheels are not polished, they have the machine finished lip. Personally I like them better than the fully painted ones. When they are clean they look great.
