The coat hanger trick was that the line was already strung when he came out on stage, when the shirt falls look at his left hand, he hits a button which drops the line onto the floor along with the shirt. The hand stuff used two small laser pointers in his hands and he bent the beams with foil taped to the inside of his hands.
The ring drop was simply a laser pointer with a small extension of stiff wire that caught the ring in free flight down and onto his laser pointer giving the appearance that it was riding the beam down onto his hand. He was very convincing and put on a great and unique show.
