Do I have to remove the blower to replace my belt? Also what is the gator belt part #???
Thanks...oh yeah...part # for plugs???

Mike,
You have to remove the blower to get the belt off/on the smooth Ford idler!!:argue:
It's also a good idea to examine the back of the mounting plate for crud and oil leakage from the input shaft seal!!:rolleyes:
While you are at it check the smooth idler for wear and bearing slop.....Zack says these idlers have shortened life under "Blower Stress"???:confused: I replace mine every belt change since it's only about $15.00 or so.......:help:
Hope you are going to use a GatorBack belt....you'll be surprised!!:beer:

I had that same kind of "fun" changing NAVCHAP's belt with the Vortech a few times.

It's not that hard and the blower is three bolts. 2 on the passenger side and one idle pully on the driver side. To be honest I had to take a bunch of things off to make the job easier. Things like the intake, anti-freeze hose and a few others. It's very simple and quick, but it may seem like a lotta work at first. Good luck! ;)

The Gatorback belt is #4061073 also on the sleeve is 6PK2725....remember this is only with the 3.7 pulley??
