LOL I like the comment that - "The Marauder probably will retain a slightly higher resale value than any Crown Vic or Grand Marquis."

Slightly higher resale value? The CV's drop off like a rock, I was looking at low mileage mint condition 03 sports for around $10-12k around the time I bought the Marauder. The CV sport only cost maybe $1500-2000 less fully loaded than the Marauder did, but the MM looks to be holding its value way, way better due to the collectability. Then again it is also probably due to the very low production of the Marauder vs. the most common full size car ever status of the other panthers.

The SS Caprice (impala) is probably a very valid indication of what will happen to the MM vs CV in 10 years, it will be hundreds of % higher in value in the same conditions.

that guy traveler manly summed it up

Marauder- Mach1 engine, 2003 GM in front\2003 crown vic rear-end,Town car-rear air bags, dual ehaust w\tips, beutifal 18'' rims, center counsal, custom enbroided seats, Ford RAcing gauges, 2003 Grand MArquis internals ( heated seats\ mirrors etc...)

Crownvic\Grand Marquis- 4.6l 2v Mustang GT engine and different levels come with different stuff, the CV and GM, for the most part, are the same car, just with different body panels, and or interior

Doesn't the Mustang GT now have like 50 more hp than the CV? The CV isn't exactly in mustang GT engine trim...

The only similarity is the sheetmetal and some interior bits.

that guy traveler doesn't really know all that much, does he. Maybe he's just trying to keep things over simple.
