It works.
Unfortunately most those doing it have Trilogy...and you may need to migrate to their site over there to get further input.

ive heard of some people usint a nitrous purge shooting right on there intercooler, alot of tuners with nissans and hondas do it, and it does work, some kid with a turbo mustang was using nitrous to kool his boost down on an episode of Pinks

I think you are referring to, C02. Not you Killjoy. FYI Mikes' Merc is using a 50 shot of NOS for cooling the air charge. Uncle Jerry B, is dogging a bigger shot

i am running 65 shot of nitrous with 12 pounds of boost (procharger) no problems right into the intake

I'm using 100% mix methanol sprayed in the intake elbow just before the throttle body, to cool and raise octane rating. It's good to take off the virtual egg I have below the right foot.
Edit: How it's made: I'm redoing 2.0 version right now, still vacuum activated and will post in the coming weeks. Reliability is still a concern so I don't use it to back timing and raise HP but rather as a "pair of braces to assist the belt", so to speak. The IAT installed right after the spray show a lowered 20-40 degrees F air when in use but the actual temp diff is probably less down in the intake track. The IAT is there as a last confirmation that the system is indeed in working condition, not to have a true measure of that said temp. It helped solve a problem I had with cheap 91 octane availability I have where I live.

A 50 shot works well for cooling the charge on an S/C application. I have used it on my earlier Procharger set up with stock internals a few times. Never a problem. But like always I would make sure you have it tuned again. I still have the N2O on my new forged engine have not used it yet though. Plans are for SSHS7 to use a 100 shot with a C16 race tune.

Both nitrous and CO2 are used for this application and it WORKS!

Thanks for the input guys!
Now, y'all using it just as extra cooling.... do you have it spraying before, or after the IAT? Are you running a dry, or a wet shot? Window switch or WOT switch?
Questions, questions, questions.....
