perfect time to add that 10 pound bag of yellow food colouring.
Green + Yellow makes blue everyone will dive in and come up yellow.
My Neighbour's planted their garden in my backyard. On my foot path to my garden hose.
I complained to the condo management company and they removed it, but come on who does that?
Have you thought about calling the local Health Department? If they have a giant stagnant pool of water ... it's a breeding ground for 'skeeters. Most communities have ordinances that frown on that sort of thing.
Or ... I could be something similar to the food dye. I know our pool store carries "party" colors that you can dye your pool. It's supposed to last like a day or two without adversely affecting the chemical makeup of the water.
If you're just mad about not getting invited over to swim ... Offer to clean it before the party, if you get to come.

When I was a kid, a girlfriend of mine had a big oval pool in her backyard, that I believe was green all the time too. We swam in it. We were like 9 or 10ish or so. We didnt care, and my mother had no idea because we lived like 20 houses down.
Come to think of it, her house reeked of animals too; and i'm not just talking on rainy/humid days when EVERYONEs house smells like dog. But yeah, i swam in green pools when I was a kid. *shudders*

Actually we both posted in this thread: http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=35522&highlight=pool...and ours is bit on the bluer side as is yours.:D
The kids for the most part come and ask Gage to use ours. I think the older kid realizes there are things to be caught in such water.:P

Have Stevo put a match to it to see if the water will burn.:flamer:
They make dye for pools to make them that color. In fact, my next door neighbor just died his water purple for a party they were having.
Not saying thats what yours did.
But just saying it's possible.
