Anyone have experience with those shops? There's a small but conspicuous dent in my fender about the size of a quarter, one would imagine being caused by the corner of a 2X4. Self inflicted, sad to say. The paint's fine, it's just a little ding ....that everyone notices.. including Barbara, that very day.

Cindy Rowe Auto Glass in Hagerstown advertises the system, and I'm wondering if it works, and curious about cost?

While we're at it, some of you know about my backing into the garage adventures, and yep, she kissed the bricks again. This time it's a scuff in the fiberglass fender on the F-150 flairside, about the size of a postage stamp. The Porter Cable with swirl remover didn't take it out, and I wondering if I should try rubbing compound, or wet sanding. Guessing I could go through the paint, can I do more harm than good?

Did I mention what great mirror glass removal system those damnedable door openings are, at $95 a pop?

Thanks in advance.

Um, Charlie & Gordon? Don't even start.

I have used one of those ding removal guys before and I have to say that it really works. I had a huge ding in my 2000 Impala and they removed it to the point that it was 99% gone. Only I would be able to notice where it was. They charged me $45 for the big ding and removed several smaller dings as well.
I highly recomend giving it a shot. Its much cheaper then body work.

Dent Doctor did a heck of a job on one of my Porsches some years ago. Pretty much as long as the paint is not broken they can fix it. My repair was total. I could not tell where the dent had been. Dennis

Me and Carfixer use the same guy here in Fort Myers. He is a magician and worth ten times the price. I let professionals ONLY do dent work on mine.
