Let's see it!!! I want to see a Mach 1 spolier on a SB.

Go to the "Photos" link on this site, create a gallery for yourself, upload from your computer to the gallery and then post in the thread from there.

This is how I lowered my car:

Remove the Front Springs. Cut 1 Full Coil off of the big end. Reinstall.

Lower the Rear Height Adjustment 1/4 the way to the Drivers Side.

All Done :D

Is the only way to lower the Marauder by cutting coils. No one makes springs that could drop it like an inch or 1 1/2 inches.

Eibach makes springs to lower the front.

What is the ride like with your set up(cut stock spring)..does it vary too far away from stock?

It is "harsher" than stock, but nowhere near as rough as the Eibachs......

The car sits about 3/4" lower than stock.

Go to www.neverenoughautomotive.com (http://www.neverenoughautomotive.com) talk to Brad. Order the Naake single or double adjustable front and rear shocks. the fronts are coil overs and are udjustable up and down more than 6". You can set the ride where ever you want it to be. they are expensive, look like they are made in a jewelery store and perform incredibly. You can change your ride from luxury cruiser to track demon in 5 minutes. The double adjustables control both compression and rebound as seperate adjustable functions. The nuts. Second only to the Trilogy as the best ever mod on my Marauder. The rear you adjust in 5 more minutes with the adjustable bar on the Watts Link as Jim outlined. Even a Dennis can do it. Dennis:beer:

This is where mine is right now, tho it is hard to see exactly as the lower 245 profile of the Nittos do not fill the wheel wells like the 255's. Dennis

This may be a better perspective.http://www.mercurymarauder.net/showcase/files/3/8/5/5/fruitpunch-jason.jpg

Your Marauder is Beautifully Bad, a Beast in a Tuxedo, it is To Much. Seriously though I like the stance.

FWIW, my previous car and the MM do not compare, however when you lowered a Focus, the OEM struts/rear shocks were toast pretty quick. I personally do not like the slammed look, its just not for me. The Naake system is probably the way to go to achieve a good balance and handling, if you can afford it. Cutting coils may work, but the shocks are designed for the OEM spring rate, so be prepared to replace shocks more often. I'm not impressed with Eibach products either. I had BATINC progressive rate springs and Eibach Prodampers on my ZX3. As stated above it handled great but the ride quality suffered. The dampers were also on their way out when I bought the DTR and they only had about 20k on them.
