The better hand-help programmers are manufacturer-specific, not model-specific...that is, the Ford ones will take any valid Ford programme...same for the GM ones...etc.

Most MMer's use the SCT tuner.

Obviously if it is VIN locked it won't work, but I don't think I would go loading a Mustang tune in a MM anyway.

If it is an xcal2, it can read diag trouble codes from any later model Ford vehicle that uses the OBDII system. Is that what you mean?
