I was thinking about cruising by Nathan's on Central Avenue in Yonkers, New York, this Thursday night. Anyone interested in joining me? I thought we could run over a few ricers and then eat some greasy fries or something.

Guys:

I would like to do a "mini-meet" of us MM owners. Is anyone interested in getting together at Yonkers Raceway this Wednesday evening? There is a car cruise there which starts relatively early and breaks up around 9:30 p.m. or so. I went last week and had a good time. I think it would be pretty cool to hook up a group of us at an event like this.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested so I can plan my work schedule accordingly. I look forward to hearing from you guys.

Ross (and others), the name is admittedly misleading. Yonkers Raceway is a horse racing track not a car racing track. The parking lot is posted with Police, so there is no street light racing either. Hopefully this will not change anyone's position.

Despite some iffy weather, we were able to get four of us together last night at a local car cruise. Unfortunately, the cruise was poorly attended due to the weather. Nonetheless, troopcar (Pam), Vern, JohnnyB and I were there. It was good meeting some more of the folks on the board.

Hopefully next week the weather will be better and there will be an even better turn out. Charlie, are you listening?

I know this is short notice but I usually go away just about every weekend in the summer. I am too tired and may not go away this weekend.

As a result, I may try to up to Thornwood, New York on Saturday night. There is supposed to be a really serious cruise up there and with the weather looking pretty good that may attract a really good crowd.
