I just had a question for ya. I think I saw a picture of your engine at one point in time and saw that yours is supercharged. How is that supercharger working out for you? How much power did it add? Is it still driveable everyday? Had any problems with it? Worth the money?

Oh yea, were you at rainbow last night? One of my friends saw a black marauder at the plymouth rainbow and thought it was me. I know you are from that area.

Yep it is supercharged. It is my two year aniversary, 15,500 s/c miles.

Working wonderful.

Approximately 140 rwhp. Never did a dyno stock, but a dyno with the s/c was 396 rwhp.

Yes it is my daily driver, from -18F to 105F. It has sat at the airport for a week in sub zero weather and started up just fine.

Problems, a couple. 1) I did not route an intercooler hose correctly during my install and it rubbed on the s/c belt creating a leak. Routed the hose correctly and no problem. 2) I re-installed a damaged s/c belt after an alternator change. It frayed damaging my hood insulator. I replaced it with a new belt. 3) Excessive rear tire wear.

I have not figured out how to solve that problem yet

Worth the money. For me, ABSOLUTELY. Money is a difficult thing, we all come from different walks of life and make differing amounts and have differing "mad money". Some people cringe that I have to use premium gas.

Nope, not me. Not at Rainbow, not sure who that would be.

Other thoughts, I did the install myself and it is a source of pride for me. I learned a lot about the car during the process. Is s/c for everyone, absolutely not. If you have some spending money, enjoy cars, go for it. If you are financially strapped, I would not recommend it.

If you go for it let me know I have been waiting two years to help with an install!

This Man (Jeremy) is the poster child for how to wring the most out of a Mercury Marauder. How can you not like a guy who blue tapes his oil guage while flat out road racing (and knows what he's doing)?
Bottom line, he DRIVES his car, and the S/C has held up...

Sounds good Jeremy. Thats awsome you drive your car daily even in the winter! I love cars too. I guess like to have a variety. I work on just about everything old and new and also build demolition derby cars. I would love to SC mine some day. I guess I should have gotten it done BEFORE I got married! Oh well. I'll have to go for a ride in your car sometime. These cars are deffinetly fast for there size but you can always use more.
