Heres the thing, i know that once you finally own a marauder you get to join the region.

But.....

I have a house in NJ

And a house in PA

Can i join both? :)

You can "join" groups? I thought you just posted in whichever one you wanted to?

Sure, why not .... but your base affiliation is generally the closest area. So, are you closer to the Hooters in East Meadow, Long Island, NY or the Red Brick Station in White Marsh, MD? :D

No one throws a meet or a party like CAM does.

With that being said what group to join is up to you lol.

I am a Member of the Buckeye Marauders.

Other than being able to have my User Title say Buckeye Marauder... what does it do? I can enter that myself if I so wish.

So.... WHAT ARE the benefits of being a member of a group???

I feel like a heel. I'm a Canadian, but I never go to the Canadian site. Must be a "Canadian" thing. :(
PS
One benefit would be the ability to get in on special group buys. I think that counts as a benefit.

Aren't group buys board-wide?

I know of NO Group Buy that has been limited to one specific Regional Group.

One of the benefits of YOU being in the Buckeye's group is, I can call you names and get the same treatment back face-to-face more often. All the while having a beer or two or three..... :D :beer: Other than that, not much.

If we were actually "organized" or had a president, etc, etc, you might consider being a member of the Buckeye Marauders differently. It would just be a small local club, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati etc, but it would be fun. Probably (hopefully) more group activities, trips, dinners, drag racing, cruises, shirts, hats etc etc. It would be like being part of a real local club. Me personally, would like to see more organization among the Buckeye folks. No one has really taken the torch and ran with it. No one really has time I guess. I know I dont.

I have set up several meets. Folks showed up. It was fun.

Having only 10~ish Member, all with busy lives, all over the State does not lead to large, frequent gatherings.
