I was driving last night, and a lexus pulled up next to me, and I could not help but notice how much cleaner, whiter, and brighter his head lights were. Has anyone here changed out their headlight bulbs yet? Which are brighter have a cleaner color, the Xeon, or the Halogen? I don't want to be one of those people who get the bright blue lights that blinds everyone else within 500 yards, but I would like somhing so I can see further out on those dark Georgia country roads at night..

The Sylvania Silverstar headlight bulb is halogen and gives out the whitest output that I have seen for a standard type replacement bulb. They are whiter and brighter than stock.
Everyone that has tried them seem to like them. The part number is 9007ST. They cost about $20 apiece but are worth changing to IMHO.

Finnaly got my rebate check this week after 8 weeks--Whew!! For a day or so therer --was wondering if I was every gonna get it--but they came thru--

Yes --The Sliverstars are the BEST--IMHO!!!

I have those silver stars. They may not be HIDs but they are definitely the whitest halogen bulbs I've even seen. They have no blue but have an ever so slight purple tint on the edges but you hardly see it. I'd recommend them and they're street legal. :D
