Not sure how many miles you have, but now is a good time to replace the Trak-Lok clutches. Cheap insurance.

lol thanks man:beer:, i must admit though the use of a lift and what not is a big help...i work for ford lol its really not that hard to do but i can see why most wouldnt want to do it in a driveway thatd suck a big one:D

Did you do you gears yet? I have a set for my MM still in the box... If you havent done yours yet perhaps we could do them togeather... I dont mind doing the wrenching and or getting dirty. I just have never done a gear swap before and would like another pair of eyes and an example car would also be awesome. Let me know if company is an option. Most likely not included...they run about $80

Unless it clearly states that they're included, otherwise they're definitely not part of the rebuild kit.

You can get those cluthes from Ford or even cheaper on ebay, but they're not available at FLAPS.

just a heads up....i wouldnt use that seal for the dif cover.....motorcraft makes a rtv sealant that works so much better and is what is supposed to be used...i can get the part number if you like

Well, generally a higher gear ratio could limit the top speed alot sooner, as well as higher rpms when just cruising. But if you look around its been noted that 4.10s will only raise it about 200-300 rpms more than stock, while cruising at highway speeds.

When and where are you doing your swap? Im thinking about changing out my rear. Will you lose top end with the 4.10s?
