The longest weekend...

I made the appointment with the L/M dealer for 4.10 installation. The earliest they could see her in is MONDAY. Drive easy for first 500 miles, right?

Since mine is a daily driver, I drove it as I normally do. Was it easy? It was normal for me. It's a 100 mile r/t to work and back, 90% highway, running the speed limit (not). I just drove the car as I normally do.......

i've been through this on a forum, my guy told me drive it like a grandma for 500 miles. but from what everyone else on this site said thats a bunch of crap... vary the speed.. do some WOT, it didn't hurt my car... after all gears are gears.. this is all based on about 10 other ppls replies ..

Yes, I am. He's my dealer too but I wouldn't have gone there without Logan's endorsement. Some of y'all have some dealer horror stories that scared me a bit.

She's still at the dealer. Tomorrow after work is the committment. Seems like it has been forever. I'll post but it may be Thursday if I'm out terrorizing the neighborhood with the new mods.

Did it take your dealer two days to put gears in?? I was in and out in 3 hours. Must be terrible to be without Marauder!!!

There's also some warranty stuff. The airbag light sometimes comes on. The leather is coming off on the backside of the steering wheel (4 o'clock position). Front license plate bracket is loose. and the trunk liner has come out of its weatherstripping. They didn't get started until this morning. I DO miss the Marauder but the free loaner is painless.

UPDATE!- I just talked to my Service Advisor. The Black Pearl won't be "seaworthy" until tomorrow afternoon. No big deal- I prefer accuracy over speed when it comes to repairs and modifications. Anyway, I know some of y'all were curious about results. I promise I'll post when I have some.
