Part #1009 comes up as a Power Steering Oil Cooler and not a transmission cooler.

checked out that part# That's what is says on the box and it is a trans cooler.

I'm sorry if I made a mistake. When I looked up the part on Hayden's website it comes up as a power steering cooler. Part # 1009 is about 1/8 of the way down on the following link.

No. You were right. I opened the box last night and it was powersteering cooler. It was packaged in the wrong box.
