I don't eat beef.
I do eat New Zealand Lamb, and Alberta Buffalo.
Manitoba Pork too.
Do you know how many head of cattle they test for BSE?
It is either 1 in 200 or 1 in 400.
And a Hamburger is not made from one animal. It is a mixture of about 200.
So if getting a BSE cow/bull/steer is 1 in 10,000 when eating a steak, it is 1 in 50 with a hamburger.
