View Full Version : Trap Shooting at Seymour

There's a very nice Trap range about 20min north of Seymour. They shoot practice rounds from 10AM to 2PM on Saturdays. If any one's interested I'd like to go up and shoot a few rounds. All you need is a shotgun and a box or two of target loads/#8 shot. The write-up says 4 trap fields, vox operated, informal and friendly, public invited.:gangster:

Nope, no 45's. All trap ranges limit shooters to 12ga #7 1/2 shot not to exceed 1,200 fps (3 Drams eqvt)

In saying this, if anyone wants to come along and see what it's all about, you'd be very welcome. If you have never been on a trap field before, or are not very familiar with shot guns, then, as guests, this would not be the venue to try it for the first time.

Anyone seen that new Baretta shotgun commerical. I beleive the gun is a 20ga. Gun will hold 12 rounds. The guy is really something. He averages 50,000 rounds per six months of practice. Gun has little or no recoil.

I really do not think beer and shotguns mix well with me, I am sure I could think of a few people to hold the clay piegons for me:banana2:
