Triple Chrome Plated, 1 year warranty against defects. I was told they will look like crap in a year or two if driven in winter (salt and stuff).

They are not a Vendor here, and neither am I. However, they said they will hook up a MINAMUM of 5 folks for a discounted rate (National Account Rates :D ), pre-paid.

Pics to follow tomorrow.

This Thread was just to see if it is worth my time to get the bugs worked out, and things rolling.

chrome is cool I guess, but I still prefer the polished wheels over chrome on any car. Plus I have to drive mine in the winter for now.

I've seen a set of chrome MM rims - they look very nice!
I don't think they have seen any winter driving so I could not say how they might hold up under those conditions.

Good chrome plating does not come cheap. Cheap chrome plating can flake and peel, does not withstand the elements very well, and generally looks like crap 2 years down the road. I've had experience in after-OEM chroming, and it was not good.

Tread lightly, and make an informed decision before you jump.

Clear-coated polished aluminum.

Hope you haven't been using chrome polish on 'em. Clean them like you would the body paint.

Info must be carefully offered.

This is the same place that I have offered info via PM only in regards to excellent wheel replacement price opportunities for years. He is not a contributor here, nor will ever be as such. For what little service he could provide to us, just would not make sense business wise.

He has however offered extremely reasonable prices on MM wheel replacements to all members here that mention Cruztaker. ;)
Only because I have a small investment of wheels from him over the years on all of our vehicles.
He is local to me, and an honorable small businness owner that caters strictly to replacement oem wheel needs in regards to repair, refinish, and aquisition.

Most of his business comes from insurance companies and Dealerships. NO AFTERMARKET CRAP.

I'll take pics of Stevo's wheels and post them Sunday night.

Chrome powdercoat does not have the hard shine or depth that real chrome plating has. But it is much more durable.

Save it for the cheap cast aftermarket knock offs.

eBay, where else?

There was a post here a while ago about them. Insurance companies like using them instead of OEM when they have to replace wheels. Probably cast in China, like so many others these days.

Polished forged aluminum wheels represent the upper end of the spectrum, which is why they were used for the Marauder instead of chromed cast wheels. Similar to polished stainless exhaust tips instead of chrome plated ones.

But to each his own.

You have to see the chrome wheels and the stock wheels in person to really see the difference. G-Man came out to a Hooters Mustang & Marauder meet last fall and his wheels were chrome.

Dave, I have a 10' ceiling. Ill be measuring tonight for the exact number.

Can 2 Marauders be on/under this lift with that ceiling height?

Ill be sure to have my lowered MM on top, for maximum clearance.

Im VERY interested in this group buy, so please look into this question or direct me to the right person.

Thanks
