I kinda bought these off the street this morning and I think they are the front factory size. They are BF Goodrich Drag Radials size: P265/40R18. I kept thinking that they were the fronts (I showed up in my Blazer so I couldn't compare side by side) and the salesmen told me once I pump these up they will be bigger than they factory rear. I kept saying it looked more like a 26 inch as suppose to a 28. After lining them up side by side when I got home, they look small to me, but will fit the factory rim.

Will these work and are these the proper size? I can actually return them if I do not bolt them on. The factory rear tires say 245/55ZR18. I have no idea how to read these things. How can a 245 be bigger than a P265? Different model I guess..... :help:

they are smaller.

here is why.

265 means 265mm wide.

40 means 40% of width is the sidewall.

40% of 265 = 106mm.

245 is 245mm

55 means 55%

55% of 245mm = 134.75mm

235/50 are 235mm * 50% = 117.5mm

Your tires are small than the fronts, and wider.

265 tread width is questionable on the stock rim width, btw. How questionable I do not know but that treadwidth on our rim width is pushing it in terms of what many tire sites recommend.

$350 and they still have the stickers on them. I'm going to get my money back or you can send me a check for the same amount plus shipping and their yours. Where in IL are you located?
