Snapped a few pictures of some of my relative's dogs playing catch with an old soccer ball...that yellow lab can get some air!

He certainly is focused...

He actually doesn't really catch it for the most part, he plays "catch" - if you throw it to him, he'll hit it right back to you - and he's pretty good, went back and forth up to 10 times in a row without dropping it!

...they are amazing athletes. Black animals are difficult to "shoot", even with a fill flash.

Yep, it was digital, a Canon S3 IS, not quite dSLR but I'm making plans to make the SLR jump this fall.

That sounds like a good shot too, better head to the lake before the summer heat is gone!
