Trying to think of where to mount mine. I like my tranny gauge, and my d-Pic, and I want a cigarette lighter, I was thinking of the steering column. Any of you have them mounted there?

You know you could relocate the cig lighter? I moved mine around the corner.

well, if you like you cig lighter. Move it to the side and mount the gauge where the lighter used to be. Many have done this here including me. Worked perfect!

No steering column mount works IMO.

IF you are going to have a Boost Gauge, and want it to be "useful" it needs to be on the Pillar. Your eyes move less from the road to see it there.

Otherwise.... just move the smoke socket.

I would want it on the column near the tach so I could see both at the same time. If it is on the A pillar, I would have the peripheral vision of a pug after a long and fun drive.

Oh, you can move the cig lighter? I did not know that, I thought you just "lost" it if you cut it out of the pod. I'll see what I can work around. I'm still waiting for pictures!

Here is a link from my zex install. You cant see the cig lighter in it but all you do is drill a hole on the side and put it in plug it in and ur done.

See the picture link below for my column mounted boost guage. It is located in a very good position to read the speedo and tach very easily.

Now tell me what the green LED is for???

Thanks for the pics guys. More are welcome! Man, I thought the column gauge sat down much lower than that? But I guess it can't since it would probably hit the ignition, and it can't do the other side because of the turn signal lever.
