Very sad. I Feel for his family. Incase you dont know who he was. He was one of the best ralley car drivers in the world also raced in the x-games.

This is the first I have heard of that. Seems race car drivers should stay out of helicopters..Sad.

This is really sad news. That guy was nuts behind the wheel. It has to take enormous skills to drive like that on pavement, gravel, sand, snow, rocks, ect. Huge fun to watch.
World Rally racing was the last decent thing on Speed Channel. It's too bad Speed channel doesn't cover it anymore. Now it's all Nascar all the time.

I loved to watch him drive that Focus like he stole it. That man lived every day to the fullest. Sad to hear about the loss.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with Nascar.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with Nascar.
there isnt? dont get me wrong i think it would be fun to drive one, but from a spectator stand point it has to be the worst possible racing to watch. they turn ONE direction for HOURS. The wrecks are cool and all so long noone gets seriously injured, but how much fun can it be to watch cars go in a circle for 500 laps? I much prefer drag racing, rally racing, and formula 1 cars and such....diferent strokes for diferent folks

He was a great, talented, crazy pilot. Same breed as Ayrton Senna, as Gilles Villeneuve, as Jean Ragnotti and some very few others ...all guys who gave everything for the race, for the victory and for the spectacle (as a consequence). Peace to his soul.
