My team: Dallas Cowboys.....so far so good....no locker room drama with T.O. and only one suspension for the quartback coach...other wise its a pretty good start to the season....82 point thru the first 2 games is the most the Boys have scored since '71....Hope they make it further than just the first round of the play offs this year....

Cowboys.....2-0

Actually there toughest fight will be the same as Indys was last year when Dallas broke up there undefeated season. BTW I am so glad that it wasnt a blow out in Buf bc now Dal has seen adversity and know how to overcome and though I dont see a blow out in either direction Dal will just as it did last season and take the #1 rated AFC team again. I was setting in Texas Stadium several Thanksgivings ago watching the Vikings pound a less than stellar Cowboy team. Randy Moss had just scored his (I think) third touchdown and I was receiving the good natured wrath of some exuberant Vikings fans. Deservedly so, unfortunately. Finally when the Vikings scored their 4th unanswered touchdown and their cheers became all
that I could stand, I turned to them and explained how football is scored in Dallas. In Dallas, I said, we don't count touchdowns. What do you mean, one of the Viking supporters said? No, I responded, we don't count touchdowns, we don't even count wins and don't even count Championships.
We only count Super bowl wins and we've got 5.

How many you got?

okay, you guys are good. that was the first full game i saw of NE this season. our defense got creamed by Brady's passing(sure wasnt the rushing LOL!) and that last minute Romo interception really killed us. if any of you missed the game, it was a lot closer than the score shows. good game still! hopefully well be seeing you again, reeaaal soon :coolman:

^ Don't you be thinkin Romo is some sort of an all star. I can think of more than one play I saw Romo got rushed and taken down himself. Just admit it, Romo can't deal with pressure as good as Brady can, hence the interception he threw.

Just remember one thing....that was only Romo's 16th start equal to one season...Brady has how many?....Romo is still learning and doing a damn good job to to be leading a 5-1 team...which is still only 1 loss away from the best record in the NFL and only 4 other teams have only one loss...which means that the Cowboys are not to shabby....having the same or better record than 28 of the 32 teams in the league.

Actually, Romo is an all-star, having been voted into the pro bowl last year. Just couldn't resist.....

John Elway, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Broncos flag in the window.

"This house is yours for eternity, John," said God. "This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here."

John felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house. On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a green and gold sidewalk, a 50 foot tall flagpole with an enormous Packers flag, and in every window, a cheesehead.

John looked at God and said, "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I won 2 Super Bowls, and I even went to the Hall of Fame.

God said, "So what do you want to know, John?"

"Well, why does Brett Favre get a better house than me?"

God chuckled and said, "John, that's not Brett Favre's house. It's mine."

I don't know why I have hope, but with a patched together 3rd and 4th string defense the Bills actually still have a shot at the play offs. Nobody is gonna beat the Pats though. Its their year.

SID210SA
12-10-2007, 01:10 PM
There's no body left to beat them exept in the playoffs....they have 3 games remaining and the best record among them is 8-4 and the wrost is the Dolphins at zero wins this year. Wouldn't that be something if the Pats only loss was to the Dolphins and the Dolphins only win was against the Pats?

Raudermaster

13-0....yawn. The Pats just rule, period. Belichick is THE smartest coach in the NFL and he's just *****ing with everyone. That was funny when that POS Smith started talking ***** with Brady, and the next play he burned the WHOLE team when he threw that pass to Moss, and he walked to the endzone. Don't talk ***** if you can't back it up. Good stuff.

If I remember right, in 89 or 90 the only game the Cowboys won was when they beat the Redskins who went on to win the Super Bowl

Yeah....Troy's first year right?..I think I remember that....it was November 5, 1989. The Cowboys won 13-3 in Washington. They went 1-15 that year.

-> We get absolutely destroyed by Indianapolis on Sunday night football....:bigcry:

-> AND NOW THIS!!!!!!.....:mad2:

How much MORE embarrassment can Baltimore stand?......:shake:

I am glad the Giants won. Eli has to hate all the credit his big brother gets. Would have liked to see big brother VS little brother in the bowl. That would be pretty cool. Finally Eli has some of the spotlight from his brother. PS- I am in no way a Giants fan or Patriots fan. LOL

Looks like NY pulled it off with the weakest way to win a game. Personally, I think the field goal should be taken out of football. It should be about the team that pushes harder for the most yards, not about some pansy that his only job is to kick a ball.

Raudermaster

I'm with you Paul. It's the "easy" way out. I mean, I'm so glad he missed the field goal with 4 seconds to go and they had to go into OT. I felt so bad when Favre rushed that pass and it got intercepted, I knew the game was over there. And yet, they win with a field goal still. The Giants didn't deserve to win, the Packers played their asses off this whole season and they lose to the NFL's most dumbest quarterback's little brother.

Well if that was the case GB did absolutly nothing the second half. I think 21 total yards. Don't know how it was weak, lose the coin toss then just take it away from them a couple plays later. Giants defense rattles another QB into makin mistakes!
