Today I allowed the wife to drive the Marauder and I drove her Cherokee. We were driving up I-68W doing 80 mph and I pulled up beside her and motioned for her to floor it. Besides the fact that she went flying into the distance instantly, I noticed that my exhaust is not "ballsey" enough.

Now I want some Flowmasters. I'm undecided as to weather I want the 40 series or the Delta 40 series. I want something noticable, but not annoying in the passenger cabin. The only reason I don't go for the Delta series right away is because of the resonators in the exhaust tips. Any recommendations?

My next question is about the part number. I'm not sure of the dimensions of the stock mufflers. I was told that the part number that should fit is 42441 (842441 for the Delta).

1) Can anybody confirm the correct part number?

2) Are there brackets that need to be cut from the stock mufflers and installed on the Flowmasters?

3) Does anybody have before and/or after pics?

Right now I have no way of crawling under my car and getting a good look.

I used the Ravin Z-55 and WesChain tips, the sound is awesome. www.goravin.com has some sound files, mine sounds like the Mustang. Some here have heard my MM, maybe they'll offer an opinion?

Yes, there are brackets on the OEM muffler that need to be cut and mounted on the replacement mufflers, but that's messy. Any replacement muffler will not be as long as the OEM, so, the mounting location will have to change too. You are better off to just add aftermarket hangers to support the system. I have some pics somewhere, if you need them just drop me a line at Sergntmac@aol.com

Sounds great! (and, no I can't hear it here in NY, but I have heard it in person). Of course, I am referring to Mac's first MM as I haven't had a ride in the land rocket (yet!!).
