Let's see how far we can take this one. Simply post the song that best suits you for the day and feel free to put lyrics if you wish. I'll start this one off.

Almost Grown -Chuck Berry.

Your turn.

Right now I think what suits me best is:

I'm So Tired - The Beatles

I need some coffee.

Soundtrack CD for Queen of the Damned

Track 3: System, by Chester Bennington of Linkin Park

First line of chorus...

"Why won't you die?"

That whole CD rocks for aggressive driving but for some reason that one line just keeps repeating in my head...

One that keeps coming up is Steven Stiles from Crosby, Stiles & Nash, Southern Cross:

"And we cheated and we lied, and we tested, and we never failed to fail, it was the easiest thing to do".

There's another, one of Rod Stewart's old ones; but you only asked for one, Dom. :D

And I will remember your name and face
on the day you are judged by a funhouse cast
And I will rejoice in your fall from grace
with a cane to the sky like "None Shall Pass"

None Shall Pass - Aesop Rock

Fits my current mood.

No they had My Best Friends Girl... awesome and totally punk if you played it twice as fast. ;)

96DiamondVIII what year did that song come out? I know of a Stooges album called Funhouse and I never heard that word/term in a song before.

Just this year. Album came out a little over a month ago but the title track was released early as a single. Very recent at any rate...
