Remember the intro video of the Marauder on your Marauder CD?
Here's how to make that your screen saver:

Make sure you have QuickTime on your PC
(You can get it from the Mercury Marauder CD)
Find this movie on the MM CD: intro_mov.mov
Put it somewhere on your hard drive (Remember the path!)

Download this software from this website:
http://www.aladdinsoft.com/features.htm
It's aviss.zip
It's on the right side of the screen where it says,
"Download AVI Screensaver now"
Unzip
Install

Go into Contol Panel/Display/Screen Saver tab
Choose AVI Screen Saver from the pull down list of screen savers
Click on Settings
Add
Browse to the video on your hard drive (remember that path?)
Properties
Choose your preferences
(I have mine set to loop indefinitely)
Ok
Choose any other options
Ok
Set the wait time
Apply
Ok

I have my screen saver set to kick off after 1 minute of inactivity and the video runs non-stop until I move my mouse.
It is SSSSWWWWEEEEETTTTT!!

Easier on a Mac ;)

Download "save hollywood" saver. Place file in screensavers folder, pick the movie you want to run from within your screen effects panel.
There is no installation.
There is nothing to add in any panels.
There are no settings to adust.
It just works.

I got a 2003 Marauder interactive owner experience CD with my owner's manual. You can listen to it in a CD player, or can use it on your PC as an interactive guide.

Anybody have any idea how the rest of us can get one?
Maybe somebody downloaded it already?
I'd like to have it.

If you want the video, I'll be glad to try to email it to each of you.
Not sure if the email server of my personal account has size limitations, but I'd be willing to try. You also might need to consider if your ISP rejects attachments of certain sizes.
I know I can send it from my work email account. I limit file attachments to 30mb on outgoing/incoming messages.
The video is only 18mb

It might be easier to send it to one person who is willing to host so that others can just download the video and the AVI video software. Anyone want to host?

PM me with your email address and I'll send you the video.

I might be willing to host, if I knew what that meant! I know even less about computers than I do about fast cars. If it's something I can reasonably do, tell me how.

Update:
Sorry. I can't get the video out past some of our servers at work and my Excite account limits file sizes of 3MB or less.

If someone wants me to burn a copy to a cd and send it to them....I can probably do that. Someone could host it so that everyone else could download it.
Logan? Would you mind hosting the video?

I could host it, but it'd be kind of a gay way to get to them, like the way I did my Focus videos... (Hey, that reminds me! I never posted my GM videos! :D) I know ghost can host videos...

Just got my Marauder intro video installed as my screen saver at work (with major help from a more talented co-worker) to accompany the Marauder wallpaper that I've had since last year. Off the hook! Thanks, Alan, for your instructions!

NOTE TO SELF: Please remember to turn the down the speakers BEFORE you walk away from your desk.

Glad I could help. I have MM wallpaper and the video running on both my workstations in my office.

I actually have the sound turned off. It's not as cool, but then my co-workers appreciate not having to listen to it loop over and over again when I'm away from my office!
