Ok, so here is the story...

The GM has sat for over a week while I have been driving my "new" Mark. The car seemed to be a little sluggish, so i got on it a bit. Feeling almost zero torque and having a raspy sound coming out of the exhaust resembling the sound of 'miss' i have, im like wtf?!?!

This hesitation i have resembles a time when i hit a large puddle. With that being said, when it happened that time, the hesitation was constant under a load or just idling. Eventually it went away after a couple of hours.

When i punch it now, ill get a cycle of power/miss/power/power/miss/power, etc. Im trying to explain it the best i can here, LOL! Im horrible at explaining these things.

Anyones guess as to what it could be? Bad plugs? Wires wet under the boots? :dunno:

Thanks for any help in advance

Plugs or wires? Might also wanna check out the air intake for crud. I found a good bit of sand and leaves in my OEM setup when I put on the PHP airbox.

Hmm, odd. Check the wires to make sure all of them are seated properly. Couldn't hurt to check plugs too if one/more have gone "sour" from sitting. Bad fuel filter too possibly? Never had one of those go, but a guy at work did and it resembled to the problems you're having.

Well, just drove the car around the block a few mins ago, and its completely gone!

Don't know how or why, but the problem just dissapeared. No CEL if anyone was wondering

Any way water could've gotten on the motor? Water can pool in the spark plug ports on the sohc motor and cause a miss, heating the engine up may have helped evaporate it. A smaller amount of water could cause an intermittent miss with no cel and clear up after you parked.

The IAC could have been stuck or one cop could have been moist...if it throws a light you can run the scan tool and it will tell you which cyl is misfiring. Erratic spelling cropped up again in the disappearing line too. It could be that the OBDII is busy with the spellchecker making little dictionaries

My Marauder sits for about 2 weeks at a time and when I finally start it up. It will idle a little rough and act strange til it warms up. I think its moisture getting inside the boots and causing it. After the intial warm up. It runs smooth and strong.

OneBADLsE,
Just a question: How long has it been since you cleaned the Intake near the butterfly valve, just after the air cleaner & snorkle? Reason I ask is that crud/carbon builds up and will make the engine surge and stumble. I have the clean the Blue MM more frequent than the '04 DTR. FWIW.
