Ok, before I get the "use the search function " please know that I have tried and I am not real good with computer stuff. Couldn't find it. So if anyone can help me with this it will be greatly appreciated. The Tach problem occurs randomley. At Idle it will sometimes drop to zero and I can tap the dash and it will resume operation. sometimes while driving it will do the same. Not a major crisis but annoying. Hell I don't know how to list my mods, or change my avatar"whatever that is?" :help::help::help:

Your avatar is the waving flag next to your username. Your tach issue is apparently a cluster problem. Go to "quick links" and hit "edit my signature". List your mods there.

Sounds like it could be either the connection to the cluster or the cluster itself. Pull the cluster, unplug and re-connect the connector. If that fixes it, great. If not, time to start looking for a replacement cluster.

Thanks for your input Brian, I was wondering if it might be at the other end of the set up, the sending unit as it were also??? I am probably using the wrong terms here but maybe someone could elaborate. Thanks again for any and all info on this matter.Vince.Brian I will check the connection at the cluster and let you know if it worked.

I believe the "sender" is the PCM.
